“A system should never reduce the game to the point where it simply blames the players for failure because they did not physically overwhelm the opponent.” Bill Walsh
3x1 no TE Plays
This is a 3x1 No TE formation that I called Storm and Stampede.

The "r" in Storm told the BZW to align on the right side.
Stampede told the BZW to align on the left side.

As a general rule, I used 3x1 formations when the ball was on a hash
or favoring a hash mark. This kept the consistent theme
to maximally spread the defense horizontally.

This is a 10 personnel formation with a running back always in the backfield.
These are the base plays from this formation.

I have included two "ATTACK Sheets" to show you what I used
as a reminder of where and how I wanted to attack the defense.

I do not believe in a play call sheet by down and distance.
That does not allow you to watch the defense, see or confirm the defender's
techniques and call the plays to attack a defender.

A play call sheet has the OC, offensive coordinator, spending too much time
looking at a piece of paper and guessing which play to call for
the down and distance when he has 4-5 plays to choose from.

That is why in the 5 wide offense you can have 2 basic run blocking schemes,
and 9 base pass routes and be able to attack any of the 11 defenders techniques.

And you can watch how they play your plays and make adjustments
because you have the plays to attack any thing you see.
