2x2 with te Plays
This is a 2x2 TE formation that I called Twins.

I ran this formation strictly with the TE on the right.
This aligned the BZW to align on the right side with the W playing the TE position.

Some years my W was capable of making the simple blocks on
the inside zone and counter plays so I did not change personnel in Twins.

In other years, when I had a true TE body, I might switch him in for the
W but he would still run the W routes on all pass plays.

I used this formation from middle of field or either hash marks because
with the TE aligned on the right it gave me the perfect defensive front
alignment for our run blocking schemes.

The 05 aligned to our left which is the way I always ran counter.
And, the 3 technique would align on the TE side which is where I ran the inside zone.

This allowed me to use it anywhere on the field and which is why I chose it
to be the 4 minute offense formation as well.

This is an 11 personnel formation with a running back always in the backfield.
These are the base plays from this formation
