“A system should never reduce the game to the point where it simply blames the players for failure because they did not physically overwhelm the opponent.” Bill Walsh
4 Minute Offense Plays
The 4 Minute Offense is used when you are ahead in the game with 4 minutes or less left and you need a good offensive drive to control the ball and run the clock out.

The series I used in this situation was the TWINS* formation with the base runs and passes.
I liked using TWINS because with a TE in the formation I could predict where the front would be aligned. The 3 technique DT would go to the TE side and 0/1 technique would be to the split end side. This set up our run blocking for INSIDE ZONE and COUNTER perfectly to what we practiced.

We are running plays we have practiced and can execute at a high level.
When you are in a 4 minute situation, EXECUTION is the most important factor
not trying to trick the defense.

*TWINS formation for me is generically called PRO TWINS. I just shortened it to TWINS for our offense.
