5 Wide Pass Play Diagrams
The core 3x2 empty formation used in the 5 wide offense
is called TORNADO and it tells
the 3 receivers to go to the right,
the R in Tornado reminds them of this, and
the 2 receivers to go to the left.
The opposite of Tornado is called TYPHOON.
And it tells the 3 receivers to align on the left
and 2 receivers on the right.
The 3 receivers, BZW, stay together.
And, the 2 receivers, XA, stay together.
I do not put the 3 receivers into the boundary.
When the ball is on a hash they go to the FIELD
and the 2 receivers go to the BOUNDARY.
